EFT or emotional freedom technique is where you tap your self repeatedly and it in turn relaxes you and helps calm anxiety.

EFT is based on accupressure, shakras, and qi…all of which do not exist. I will repeat that: shakras, qi, body energy fields, anything having to do with ionization of the body, etc is all bunk. So the magical and spiritual reasoning behind this technique is pure and simple bs.

The reason I’m telling you about this is because focused tapping can help relax you. If you tap yourself while thinking of tapping yourself or while repeating a positive phrase your heartbeat will lower. The reason is very simple: distraction. If you’re thinking about tapping youre not thinking about what is making you anxious.
