We will talk about this when we get back, but just to start you thinking. The elbow should be below your shoulder at footstrike. This keeps it strong and working with the body rather than flying out and increasing stress at the joint. We still want a high elbow at release, but if it happens too soon it puts stress on the tiny ligaments of the elbow rather than the large muscles of the chest and trunk. For now here’s some proof. Google others too just make sure you’re looking at footstrike.
